Now, although this usually only includes films nominated for Best Picture, I am making two exceptions, today’s post being the first one. Creed is the new film based on the Rocky saga, created by Sylvester Stallone way back in 1976, that is 40 years ago. This new film comes from the hand of Ryan Coogler who directed the critically acclaimed Fruitvale Station back in 2013 and picks the Rocky story from the perspective of a new character, played by Michael B.
