London files #4 – Primrose Hill

This past Saturday I decided to explore an area of London I’d heard so much about but never actually visited: Primrose Hill. I read somewhere that the area is like Notting Hill, without all the tourists, and it’s such a good way to put it! A quiet, small town, picture perfect neighbourhood, with a park that provides possible the best view of London you will ever see. There are tons of colourful, stunning, houses, beautiful coffeeshops, restaurants and shops – it’s great for a relaxed morning!

Copenhagen City Guide – Part 1

For the August bank holiday I wanted to go out of the UK and explore a new city. Copenhagen was the obvious choice as it had been on my list for years! One of my favourite walks to take in my hometown is up to the Castle. The old buildings are…

Portuguese tiles (azulejos)

One thing I love about Portugal, aside from my family (cat included) and all of the delicious food, are the traditional Portuguese tiles, or azulejos. They are beautiful, colourful and delicate. And they can be found everywhere: outside apartment buildings, decorating public gardens, staircases, fountains, the list is endless. While I was on…
