Today I wanted to highlight 5 things/places I’ve loved throughout the month of September.
JNCQuoi Asia
This very posh, very beautiful restaurant in the heart of Lisbon was a wonderful discovery this month! Not only is the decor very impressive, but the service is great and the food is beyond words – so, so delicious. It’s not your every day restaurant, but if you’re in Lisbon celebrating a special occasion, this is a great spot.
Part of the reason why it is a favourite, is that I was lucky enough to go there with my godparents for a dinner and (long overdue) catch up – it was so fun, so special to sit and talk together for hours while enjoying the food, drinks and general ambiance!
Pedras d’el Rei
I can’t talk about my month of September without mentioning Pedras d’el Rei and the wonderful holiday I spent there with my parents this month. Pedras was the location of all my teenage Summers and as such holds a truly special place in my heart, so I was really looking forward to going back. And it didn’t disappoint!
The resort is simple but comfortable, it has everything you need for a week/two weeks break, you can easily get to nearby villages/towns to wander/explore… plus the nearby beach is perfect, and great to get working on a very impressive tan. Pure bliss.
Whistles Dress
Before going on holiday I wanted to invest on some clothing items that would help me feel comfortable and look put together when I went out for meals. One of the things I invested in was this Whistles dress which is the most comfortable, beautiful thing I own. It’s made of jersey so it basically feels like wearing a very long t-shirt, but it has a beautiful shape that holds up when worn. I love it!
Levi’s Denim Jacket
I had been wanting a new denim jacket to wear with dresses for a while, and before my holiday I finally invested in this gorgeous one from Levi’s. I got it in a light denim colour and a bit on the looser side so it’s more oversized in fit and I adore it. It’s the perfect mid-season jacket, which I now plan to wear with my Whistles dress, some ankle boots and a nice scarf when I go into the office in October!
Gucci lipstick
For as long as I can remember, I have been a lipstick gal. I’m more of fan of sheer lips but I love discovering new colours and formulas and playing around with that. A while back I bought the Gucci Rouge de Beauté Goldie Red lipstick and loved the texture and colour – but it wasn’t until my holiday when I got a tan that I noticed just how beautiful that lipstick is. I’m usually shy wearing red lipstick daily, but this might just have changed my mind!

Hoje queria destacar 5 coisas/sítios que adorei ao longo do mês de Setembro.

Este restaurante super chique no coração de Lisboa foi uma descoberta maravilhosa este mês! Não só tem uma decoração impressionante, mas o serviço é excelente e a comida é maravilhosa – tão, tão boa. Não é um restaurante para todos os dias, mas para quem está em Lisboa e quer comemorar uma ocasião especial, este é um óptimo local.
Parte do motivo pelo qual é um dos favoritos, é por ter tido a sorte de lá ir jantar com os meus padrinhos para por a conversa em dia – foi tão divertido, tão especial estarmos ali horas a conversar enquanto desfrutávamos da comida e das bebidas óptimas, e do ambiente geral!
Pedras d’el Rei
Não posso falar do meu mês de Setembro sem falar em Pedras d’el Rei e nas férias maravilhosas que passei lá com os meus pais este mês. Pedras foi o local de todos os meus verões de adolescente e, como tal, tem um lugar verdadeiramente especial no meu coração. Estava ansiosa por voltar e não fiquei desiludida!
O aldeamento é simples e confortável, tem tudo o que é preciso para umas férias de uma ou duas semanas, podemos chegar com facilidade às vilas/cidades mais próximas para passear/explorar… e para além disso, a praia mais próxima (Praia do Barril) é perfeita e ótima para trabalhar para um bronze impressionante. Uma maravilha.
Vestido Whistles
Antes de ir de férias, queria investir em algumas peças de roupa que me ajudassem a me sentir confortável e ficar bem arranjada quando saísse para jantar. Uma das coisas que comprei foi neste vestido Whistles, que é a coisa mais confortável e bonita que tenho. É de algodão e basicamente parece que estamos a vestir uma t-shirt muito comprida, mas tem uma forma bonita que se mantém quando o vestimos. Adoro!
Blusão de ganga Levi’s
Já há bastante tempo que queria comprar um blusão de ganga novo para usar com vestidos e, antes das minhas férias finalmente comprei este da Levi’s que acho lindo. Comprei em ganga clara e num número ligeiramente maior para ficar mais largo e adoro como veste. É o blusão perfeito para a meia-estação, que agora no Outono quero usar com o vestido da Whistles, uns botins e um cachecol nos dias de ir ao escritório!
Batom Gucci
Desde que me lembro, adoro batom. Gosto mais daqueles batons ‘sheer’, assim mais hidratantes e leves, e adoro descobrir novas cores e fórmulas e brincar com isso. Há uns tempos comprei o batom Rouge de Beauté da Gucci em Goldie Red e adorei a textura e a cor – mas foi só nas férias, quando o usei já bronzeada, que percebi como o batom é (mesmo) bonito. Normalmente sou tímida em relação a usar batom vermelho no dia-a-dia, mas acho que este pode me pode ter feito mudar de ideias!
