Although the weather in the UK hasn’t been very summery, I am still very much looking forward to the month of July. Here are some things I’m really excited for…
Sports
This month will see the end of both the Euros and the Tour de France – two sporting events I love following and get excited about! It’s so great to have these events back after a very out of place 2020, I’m enjoying watching so far and can’t wait to continue following them.
TV & Movies
Black Widow, anyone?! Tomorrow the highly anticipated Black Widow solo movie comes out and about damn time!! After years of anticipation and countless delays due to the pandemic, I am thrilled to finally see a movie dedicated to Nat!
Continuing in the Marvel theme, Loki will be coming to and end this month and I can’t wait to see where the MCU will take the god of mischief!
Outside the MCU, I’m super excited to watch the return of the adorable & hilarious Ted Lasso (Apple TV+) and the cheesy & adorable Virgin River (Netflix).
Culture
This week I’ll be heading to Dulwich Picture Gallery (my first visit!) to explore ‘Unearthed: Photography’s Roots’, their current exhibition on the history of photography with emphasis on photos of plants. What’s not to love?!
I will also finally be visiting the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich to visit their beautiful frescos and see the Gaia exhibit up close. I can’t wait!
Vaccine
On the 25th of this month I will be getting my second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine – yay Science! I can’t wait to be fully vaccinated, which should hopefully make it easier for me to go back home and see my family without needing to quarantine. Fingers crossed!

Embora o tempo aqui no Reino Unido não tenha estado muito de Verão, estou na mesma ansiosa pelo mês de Julho. Aqui estão algumas coisas que me entusiasmam…
Desporto
Este mês vai ver o fim do Euro e do Tour de France – dois eventos desportivos que adoro acompanhar! É tão bom ter estes eventos de volta depois de um 2020 muito fora do normal. Estou a gostar de ver até agora e mal posso esperar para continuar a acompanhar um e outro.
TV e filmes
Black Widow! Amanhã sai o muito aguardado filme a solo de Black Widow – e já não era sem tempo!! Depois de anos de expectativa e inúmeros atrasos devido à pandemia, estou ansiosa por finalmente ver um filme dedicado à Nat!
Continuando no tema da Marvel, Loki chega ao fim este mês e mal posso esperar para ver onde a Marvel vai levar o God of Mischief!
Cultura
Fora do MCU, estou super animado para assistir o regresso do adorável e divertido Ted Lasso (Apple TV +) e do fofinho Virgin River (Netflix).

Vacina
No dia 25 deste mês recebo a minha segunda dose da vacina Covid-19! Mal posso esperar para estar totalmente vacinada, o que deve tornar mais fácil viagens a casa para ver a minha família sem precisar de ficar em quarentena. Haja esperança!
