Today I wanted to share some things that I’ve really been loving recently. From beauty products, to stationery, to series – it’s all here and it’s all so good!
Beauty
With mask wearing and the stress of the multiple lockdowns and restrictions, my skin was not happy – and it showed. My dermatologist recommended I stripped down my routine and my skin has been much better. I’m only using the Augustinus Bader cleanser (an actual miracle worker) and then the La Roche Posay Toleriane eye and face creams.
When I do feel like wearing make up to feel more put together and more myself, I have been going for the Armani Neo Nude foundation and the liquid blush from the same line. They give a natural finish and don’t irritate my skin. And of course I always do my brows – with the Fenty Brow Wax which is AMAZING. Plus a touch of tinted lip balm – my favourite being the Red Balm from La Bouche Rouge.
Desk Essentials
I recently replaced the desk mat I had here for a brand new pink one. That brightened up my work space a lot and I wanted to reorganise it. I moved my favourite magazines to the corner of my desk and that’s where I now keep my Pilea plant and camera – I love looking at them while I work.
Flowers
I found some beautiful white carnations in a florist nearby recently. They’re so beautiful & have been lasting so long! I forget how having flowers around can improve my spirits.
Series
I love the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies A LOT and have been feeling the void left in my life after Avengers Endgame put an end to the MCU Phase 3. But then Wandavision came along! It’s such an original take on Marvel and on TV series, really – it had me hooked from the first episode. Every Friday I spend my days torn between avoiding Twitter so I don’t see spoilers, and looking through all of Twitter to see the reactions because they’re always hilarious. The cast is incredible (Elizabeth Olsen and Kat Dennings are QUEENS) and the storyline is so exciting! I can’t wait for the last episode tomorrow – but am already sad to see it end.
Movies
As a result of Wandavision, I’ve been going back through the MCU movies in timeline order and I’m loving them so much again! Even Iron Man, which I didn’t love too much at first, is growing on me. But Thor Ragnarok and Captain Marvel will always be the best ones for me.

Hoje queria partilhar algumas coisas que tenho estado a adorar nos últimos tempos. De produtos de beleza, a papelaria, a séries – está tudo aqui e é tudo tão bom!
Beleza
Com o uso das máscaras e o stress de restrições, a minha pele não tem andado muito feliz – e notava-se. A minha dermatologista recomendou que usasse uma rotina mais básica e a minha pele está muito mais calma. Só uso o gel de limpeza da Augustinus Bader (que é milagroso) e depois o creme de olhos e de cara da gama Toleriane da La Roche Posay.
Quando me apetece usar maquilhagem para me sentir mais arranjada e mais “eu”, tenho usado a base Neo Nude da Armani e o blush líquido da mesma linha. Dão um ar natural e não irritam a minha pele sensível. E claro que dou sempre um jeito nas sobrancelhas – com o Brow Wax da Fenty que é INCRÍVEL. E junto um toque de hidratante de lábios com cor – adoro o Red Balm da La Bouche Rouge.
Essenciais na Secretária
Substituí recentemente a base que tinha na secretária e comprei uma cor de rosa linda. Deu mais luz ao meu espaço e aproveitei para reorganizar. Pus as minhas revistas favoritas no canto da secretária e é aí que agora tenho a minha planta Pilea e a minha máquina fotográfica – adoro olhar para elas enquanto trabalho!
Flores
Encontrei uns cravos brancos lindos numa florista aqui perto. São tão lindos e duram há tanto tempo! Esqueço-me o quanto ter tantas flores em casa ajuda a melhorar os ânimos!
Séries
ADORO os filmes do Universo Cinematográfico da Marvel e tenho estado a sentir o vazio na minha vida depois da fase 3 ter acabado com o Avengers Endgame. Mas aí entra WandaVision! É uma perspectiva tão original nas histórias da Marvel e mesmo uma forma tão original de fazer séries – fiquei viciada logo no primeiro episódio. Todas as sextas passo os dias entre evitar o Twitter para não ver spoilers e, ao mesmo tempo, passar pelo Twitter várias vezes para ver as reações porque são hilariantes. O casto é incrível (Elizabeth Olsen e Kat Dennings são AS MAIORES) e a história é tão gira! Mal posso esperar pelo último episódio que sai amanhã – mas já estou triste por estar a acabar.
Filmes
Como consequência de ver a WandaVision, tenho estado a pegar nos filmes do MCU em order cronológica e estou a adorá-los! Até do Iron Man, que não adorei da primeira vez que vi, estou a gostar mais. Mas o Thor Ragnarok e o Captain Marvel serão sempre os meus favoritos.
