Favourite Home scents for the colder months

I love embracing the spirit of Hygge when the cold begins to set in and the days get shorter. My favourite? Cosy evenings at home with a good cup of tea, a blanket and, of course, lit candles!

Adoro abraçar o espírito de Hygge quando começa a fazer mais frio e os dias ficam mais curtos. O que gosto mais? Passar noites aconchegada em casa com um bom chá, uma manta e, claro, velas acesas!

I love scented candles, but as I’m very sensitive to scents (I’m allergic to a few scents, and also to very chemical based candles), not all of them work for me…

Adoro velas de cheiro, mas como sou sensível a fragrâncias (sou alérgica a alguns cheiros e também a velas muito químicas), nem todas são boas para mim…

PF Candle Co Spiced Pumpkin

This is my absolute favourite candle. Unfortunately it’s also quite hard to come by, so this year I spotted a big version of this candle on Trouva and immediately bought it. It smells of spices and cake and it’s just so cosy – I love it, and no other candle compares.

Diptyque Noisetier

Noisetier brings back memories of Hazelnut tree fields and cosy Autumn days spent with family. It’s woody and delicate and of course as beautiful as only Diptyque candles can be.

Diptyque Baies

Baies is a Diptyque classic, and it beautifully mixes berries and roses. It’s a fruitier option but also delicate & very cosy.
