I spent a long time researching hotels for my 2020 trip to Sevilla before finally deciding on one – my objective was to find somewhere that was central and reasonably priced, but also a pretty space where I’d enjoy coming back to after hours walking around, and feel safe (which is important when you travel solo).
Passei imenso tempo a pesquisar hotéis para a minha viagem a Sevilha antes de me decidir – queria encontrar um sítio central e com preços razoáveis, mas também que tivesse quartos bonitos onde eu gostasse de descansar depois de passar horas a passear, para além de me sentir segura (que é super importante quando viajo sozinha).
I settled on Hotel One Shot Palacio Conde de Torrejon because it met all the key criteria.

My room was the most basic option and yet it had a great design and was super comfy! The bed was big and cosy, the room in general was clean and bright – and I loved the fact that they left a little bag of sweets as a welcome treat!
O meu quarto era o mais básico e ainda assim tinha um design bonito e era super confortável! A cama era grande e aconchegante, o quarto era limpo e luminoso – e adorei o saquinho de gomas que estava à minha espera quando cheguei!
The lounge area of the hotel was lovely, with a great decor full of pastels. It was a perfect spot to sit and read a good book when I had time to kill – before going to the airport, for example!
A sala de estar do hotel era agradável, com uma decoração bonita em tons pastel. O sítio ideal para sentar a ler um bom livro quando precisamos de fazer horas – antes de ir para o aeroporto, por exemplo!
The location was great: 20 minutes walk away from the Alcázar & Cathedral, near the main sights & close to all the great food spots! The closest was Alameda de Hercules, which is full of restaurants and bars and is incredibly lively with a fun environment in the evenings.
A localização é óptima: 20 minutos a pé do Alcázar e da Catedral, perto dos sítios que queria ver e com imensos restaurantes por perto! A Alameda de Hércules fica ao virar da esquina, está cheia de restaurantes e bares e tem um ambiente animado e divertido, especialmente ao final do dia.
My reservation allowed for payment to be made in the hotel (a big plus) and had free cancellation until two days before, which is a great safety to have in case of any issues.
A minha reserva permitiu fazer o pagamento no hotel (uma mais valia) e tinha a opção de cancelamento até dois dias antes, o que é uma segurança caso aconteça algum imprevisto.
