Hideaway at Chelsea Barracks

Last Saturday I decided to go check out the Hideaway pop up in Chelsea.

No sábado passado decidir ir experimentar o pop up Hideaway em Chelsea.

This new spot by chef Ollie Dabbous of Hide Restaurant in Piccadilly is located in the residential development in Chelsea Barracks and it offers great food and drinks, including wines from Hedonism wines.

Este novo spot do chef Ollie Dabbous do restaurante Hide em Piccadilly fica no complexo residencial de Chelsea Barracks e tem uma óptima oferta de comida e de bebidas incluindo vinhos da loja Hedonism wines.

The space is big, light (even on a rainy day like that one was) and beautifully decorated with autumnal leaves and colours.

O espaço é grande, cheio de luz (mesmo num dia chuvoso como estava) e com umas decorações lindas com tons e folhas de Outono.

Everything is so comfortable and, as I discovered, it’s the perfect place for a morning coffee and snack.

Achei tudo super confortável e, como vim a descobrir, é o local perfeito para um café e um lanche matinal.

Hideaway offers a great selection of specialty coffees from Union Roasted. I love how the menu describes their notes and how they taste with or without milk. I opted for the first one, Gajah Mountain, a dark roast with beans from Sumatra, in a skinny latte.

O Hideaway tem uma óptima seleção de cafés da Union Roasted. Adoro como o menu descreve os cafés com as notas e aquilo a que sabem com ou sem leite. Optei pelo primeiro, chamado Gajah Mountain, um café de torrefação escura com grãos da Sumatra, num latte com leite magro.

The perfect pairing for it was, of course, a delicious buckwheat pain au chocolat. It was still warm and the chocolate was still melted – an absolute treat!

Para acompanhar escolhi, claro, um pain au chocolat de buckwheat (uma farinha de trigo). Ainda estava quente e o chocolate derretido – uma verdadeira delícia.

I took my time to enjoy my coffee and cake, first while reading my book, and then making notes and plans of upcoming travels and blog posts.

Deixei-me estar a saborear o café e o bolo, primeiro a ler o meu livro e depois a fazer planos para viagens e para posts no blog.

Definitely a great spot for this season!

Decididamente um óptimo spot para esta estação!
