What’s in my bag

For Christmas last year, my parents very kindly gave me the gorgeous APC Paris Half Moon bag in textured black that has been my favourite ever since. So much so, that I got a gorgeous brown one for my birthday too.

No Natal do ano passado os meus pais (que são uns queridos) ofereceram-me a lindíssima carteira Half Moon da APC Paris em preto texturizado que é a minha preferida desde então. De tal forma que comprei uma igualmente bonita em castanho para os meus anos.

They’re my only two designer handbags at the moment, as I have sold my previous ones on eBay after I stopped wearing them.

São as minhas duas únicas carteiras de marca porque vendi as outras no ebay depois de deixar de as usar.

And I honestly wouldn’t trade it. It’s an elegant bag, that fits all your everyday essentials plus a couple of bits. It’s super practical for weekends & for travelling too.

E para ser sincera não as trocava por nada. É uma carteira elegante, onde cabem todos os essenciais do dia-a-dia e mais uns extras. É super prática para fins-de-semana e para viajar.

During the work week I will also carry a tote bag where I take my lunch, scarf and umbrella.

Durante a semana de trabalho também levo um saco de pano onde ponho a marmita, um cachecol e um chapéu de chuva.

To give you an idea of what to expect with this bag, I wanted to show you what I usually carry in it.

Para vos dar uma ideia do que esperar com esta carteira, queria mostrar-vos o que costumo ter lá dentro.

The essentials

Phone

Of course, this is where I do everything, from editing photos to blog writing. Mine is an iPhone XS Max and it fits more than comfortably in the bag.

O telemóvel, claro, é onde faço tudo desde editar fotografias até escrever no blog. O meu é o iPhone XS Max e cabe lindamente na carteira.

Wallet

Mine is a Roik wallet I got over Summer. It’s tiny and pretty, plus it has room for all my essential cards, a few bills and coins. Ideal.

A minha carteira é da Roik e comprei-a no Verão. É pequenina e bonita, e para além do mais cabem lá os meus cartões essenciais, algumas notas e moedas. Ideal.

Card Holder

My Acne Studios card holder is a souvenir from my trip to Stockholm three years ago, and in it I carry my Oyster (which matches it so well) as well as my work access card & Boots card.

O porta-cartões é da Acne Studios foi comprado em Estocolmo há três anos e nele trago o meu Oyster (que combina tão bem) bem como o cartão de acesso ao escritório e o cartão do Boots.

KawecoSport Pen

I always have this cool pen with me just in case. Still looking for the perfect mini notebook to go with it.

Trago sempre esta caneta linda comigo não vá ser preciso. Ainda ando à procura do bloco perfeito para lhe fazer companhia.

Tech

AirPods

I can’t go anywhere without them – super practical for music & phone calls too.

Não vou a lado nenhum sem os meus AirPods – dão imenso jeito para ouvir música e para fazer telefonemas.

Kindle

Me and my Kindle have been almost joined at the hip since I got it last year – I don’t leave the house without it, and honestly feel like Rory Gilmore who carried a book everywhere she went.

Eu e o meu Kindle andamos sempre juntos desde que o recebi no ano passado – não saio de casa sem ele e a sério que me sinto como a Rory Gilmore que levava sempre um livro para todo o lado.

Beauty & Health

Inhaler

I occasionally get short of breath and so I don’t go anywhere without my inhaler nearby for emergencies.

Às vezes fico com falta de ar então não vou a lado nenhum sem a bomba da asma para alguma emergência.

Eye drops

My eyes are super sensitive and will start watering or itching at the smallest hint of an allergy, so I always keep eye drops on me to be safe.

Os meus olhos são super sensíveis e começam a lacrimejar ou a fazer comichão à mínima migalha de alergia, por isso ando sempre com estas gotas.

Travalo

I love smelling of freshly applied perfume and this little thing lets me freshen up wherever I am – super practical.

Adoro cheirar a perfume acabado de por e este frasquinho dá para me resfrescar sempre que for preciso – super prático.

Clarins Lip Perfector

Currently using one of the new shades from this year’s collection and it’s gorgeous – the perfect berry lip for Autumn.

Actualmente estou a usar uma das cores novas desta estação e adoro – a cor ‘berry’ ideal para o Outono.

Pat McGrath Lip Fetish Lip Balm

This is by far the best luxury lipstick I found. The colour is beautiful, it lasts despite being a balm, and it’s moisturising. I have the colour Flesh 3 and it’s my favourite nudey red.

Este é de longe o melhor batom de luxo que já experimentei. A cor é linda, dura imenso apesar de ser um batom hidratante e é de facto, hidratante. Tenho a cor Flesh 3, um vermelho natural que se tornou o meu preferido.

And that’s it! On days when I don’t want to carry anything else with me, my small umbrella will also fit in the bag. It really is super practical – and one of those bags you will not grow tired of because it just looks good no matter what.

E é isto! Em dias que não quero levar mais nada, o chapéu de chuva também cabe na carteira. É mesmo super prática – e uma daquelas que não cansam.
