If you’ve been following my blog and Instagram for a while, you know I love movies. Going to the cinema and watching films at home are my favourite ways to switch off my brain when I need a rest.
Se já seguem o meu blog e Instagram há uns tempos, saberão que adoro filmes. Ir ao cinema e ver filmes em casa são as minhas formas preferidas de desligar o cérebro quando preciso de descanso.
In Autumn, there’s really nothing better than spending a weekend afternoon at home (especially if it’s raining out), wrapped in a cosy blanket, with a candle burning and a nice cup of tea in hand, ready to watch a movie. For this kind of movie session, I love light and easy films – something sweet, uplifting, and just nice.
No Outono, não há nada melhor do que passar uma tarde de fim-de-semana em casa (especialmente quando chove lá fora), embrulhada numa manta, com uma vela acesa e uma chávena de chá na mão, pronta para ver um filme. Para este tipo de sessão, adoro filmes leves e fáceis de ver – qualquer coisa animadora, positiva e agradável.

October Kiss
The first of the Hallmark Channel movies I’ll be talking about. There’s a nanny, a widower dad with two kids and a very demanding job, Halloween decorations, Pumpkin Patch action and, of course, romance. What’s not to love. Nothing, that’s what.
O primeiro dos filmes do Hallmark Channel que vou referir. Há uma ama, um pai viúvo com dois filhos e um emprego exigente, decorações para o Halloween, visitas a uma quinta de abóboras e, claro, romance. Impossível não gostar.
Harvest Moon
A spoiled rich girl whose dad loses all his money on a bad investment ends up in a farm, where a broody farmer shows her the charms of country life. It’s even cheesier than October Kiss, but it actually is pretty sweet in the end. Why am I so drawn to films set in farms?!
Uma rapariga mimada cujo pai perde todo o seu dinheiro por ter feito um mau investimento acaba numa quinta, onde um agricultor lhe mostra os encantos da vida no campo. Ainda mais lamechas do que October Kiss, mas acaba por ser fofinho no final. Porque é que eu adoro filmes passados em quintas?!
Autumn Dreams
After a secret wedding (and subsequent annulment) as teens, a couple meets again 15 years later to solve some unfinished business. There’s a farm (yep, again), New York, a Harvest Festival, and a handsome guy. I’m sold.
Depois de um casamento secreto (e da sua anulação) enquanto adolescentes, um casal volta a encontrar-se 15 anos depois para resolver uma questão pendente. Há uma quinta (sim, outra), Nova Iorque, um Harvest Festival e um protagonista giro. Contem comigo.
