Chez Núñez Presets
I’ve been following Anna for a while and love her whole aesthetic – both for her photos and for her design work. So when she launched her presets, I jumped at the chance to get them! I needed a bit of a change to give me a creativity boost and this was just the trick!
Já sigo a Anna há uns tempos e adoro a estética da página dela – tanto no que toca às fotografias, como ao trabalho de design. Por isso quando ela lançou os presets para lightroom eu fui logo comprar! Estava a precisar de uma mudança para me dar um empurrão criativo e isto foi ideal!
Meeting friends
During my time in Portugal, I got the chance to meet some old and some new friends – which was awesome!
Enquanto estive em Portugal pude encontrar-me com amigas antigas e novas – o que foi espectacular!
I met Andreia and Catarina for a lovely brunch at one of my favourite spots in Lisbon, Café Janis. It was great to just sit and chat about life and just day-to-day stuff! Catarina and I even got talking about excel formulae, that’s how nerdy we are – ha!
Encontrei-me com a Andreia e a Catarina para um brunch num dos meus spots preferidos de Lisboa, o café Janis. Foi óptimo estar na conversa sobre coisas da vida e do dia-a-dia! Eu e a Catarina até começámos a falar sobre fórmulas de Excel, para verem como somos needs haha!
And I got to catch up with my bestie as well, which is always a highlight of any trip home! We text all the time and occasionally FaceTime but it’s always the best to have actual plans together when I’m in town. Now to convince her to come visit me in London again…
Também me encontrei com a minha bestie, que é sempre um momento alto de cada viagem a casa! Falamos muito por mensagem e de vez em quando ligamos por FaceTime, mas é sempre óptimo fazermos planos juntas quando estou por lá. Agora falta convencê-la a vir visitar-me a Londres outra vez…
Summer Break
The majority of my time in Portugal was spent in Figueira da Foz with my parents and cat, having the most chilled days ever – it was honestly better, more relaxing and recharging than I could have ever hoped!
A maioria do tempo das férias foi passado na Figueira da Foz com os meus pais e gato, nos dias mais calmos de sempre – foi honestamente melhor, mais relaxante e ideal para recarregar baterias do que alguma vez podia ter imaginado!
Porto
During the break we took a couple of days to head to Porto. I loved exploring the city for more than a day, in the company of my parents who know the city better than I do – and who are always up to a tour of a Port Wine cellar with me!
Durante as férias tirámos uns dias para ir ao Porto. Adorei explorar a cidade por mais do que um dia, na companhia dos meus pais que conhecem a cidade melhor do que eu – e que estão sempre dispostos a fazer uma visita a uma Cave de Vinho do Porto comigo!
Raparigas Como Nós
Before I went on holiday I looked to the Portuguese bookshops to find a new one to read. I didn’t get to it while I was away but started when I came back and oh.my.god. I was blown away. It had never happened to me to feel so connected to a book. It is set in Lisbon in a time I remember vividly, and it talks about friends and crushes, and feeling absolutely overwhelmed by them. All things I felt. I loved this book so much I am currently reading it again!
Antes de ir de férias procurei livros Portugueses para encontrar um novo para ler. Não peguei nele até voltar mas quando peguei foi o amor. Fiquei encantada. Nunca me tinha acontecido sentir-me tão ligada a um livro. Passa-se em Lisboa numa altura da qual tenho memórias super nítidas e fala de amizades e amores e de nos sentirmos assoberbados por eles. Tudo coisas que também senti. Gostei tanto deste livro que já estou a ler outra vez!
