Lisbon
My trip home at the beginning of the month was nothing short of wonderful. I spent great moments with my favourite people and it really was a mood-booster kind of trip!
A minha viagem a casa no início do mês foi incrível. Passei momentos óptimos com as minhas pessoas favoritas e foi uma daquelas viagens que nos põem felizes e de bom humor!
Birthday
Getting to spend my 35th birthday at Home, was perfect. I went for brunch with mum, spent part of the afternoon with my best friend chatting away, and finished the day with a lovely dinner with my parents and godmother! I felt really grateful for the people around me and the lovely day I had.
Passar os meus 35 anos em casa foi perfeito. Fui tomar brunch com a mãe, passei parte da tarde na conversa com a minha melhor amiga e acabei o dia com um jantar óptimo com os meus pais e a minha madrinha! Senti-me muito grata pelas pessoas à minha volta e pelo dia óptimo que tive.
Take That
I had an unexpected surprise when I came back to London, as through work I got the chance to go to watch Take That, my absolute favourite band when I was a teenager, at the O2. I sang my heart out and danced until my feet gave out. What a great night!
Tive uma surpresa inesperada quando voltei a Londres, já que através do trabalho pude ir ver os Take That, que foram a minha banda preferida durante a adolescência, na O2 Arena. Cantei e dancei até não poder mais. Que noite espectacular!
Friends
In Lisbon, I met my friend Andreia for a delicious brunch and catch up at Cotidiano – still dreaming about those super fluffy pancakes!
Em Lisboa, encontrei-me com a minha amiga Andreia para um brunch delicioso no Cotidiano, onde aproveitámos para por a conversa em dia – ainda estou a sonhar com as minhas panquecas!
Back in London, Matilde and I went to try Serata Hall, followed by a wander around East London.
Já em Londres, a Matilde e eu fomos experimentar o Serata Hall, e depois seguimos para dar um passeio no Este de Londres.
A few days later, the super lovely Sara was in London and we finally managed to get together after many failed tries in Lisbon!
Uns dias mais tarde, a Sara (que é um amor) estava em Londres e finalmente conseguimos encontrar-nos, depois de várias tentativas falhadas em Lisboa!
And to top off the month, last Thursday I met my girl Rita for drinks and food at Burr & Co in Russell Square.
Para fechar o mês em beleza, na quinta-feira passada encontrei-me com a minha amiga Rita para por a conversa em dia com um copo e uns petiscos no Burr & Co em Russell Square.
I feel so lucky to have these moments with great friends!
Sinto-me com muita sorte por ter todos este momentos com boas amigas!
Game of Thrones
I might be one of the few people who actually enjoyed the last season, and the last episode of Game of Thrones in particular, but I did! The series coming to an end did make me curious about the books, so I am reading those now – the first one is truly gripping so far!
Devo ser uma das poucas pessoas que gostou da última temporada e do último episódio de Game of Thrones em particular, mas gostei mesmo! Com o final da série fiquei curiosa sobre os livros e estou a lê-los agora – o primeiro é super viciante até agora!
Paris
I spent the bank holiday weekend in Paris and it was absolutely glorious. I explored to my heart’s content, had great food & drinks and got to meet two lovely ladies I love following online: Carin and Alexandra. Couldn’t have asked for a better weekend!
Passei o fim-de-semana prolongado do fim de Maio em Paris e foi uma maravilha. Explorei como quis, comi e bebi coisas deliciosas e pude conhecer duas pessoas que adoro seguir online: a Carin e a Alexandra. Não podia ter pedido um fim-de-semana melhor!
