“I’m so glad to live in a world where there are Octobers”, said L.M. Montgomery in Anne of Green Gables – and she was so right! October has been a great month and I’ve had several moments and things that brought me great joy!
No livro Anne of Green Gables (Ana dos Cabelos Ruivos), LM Montgomery escreveu “Adoro viver num mundo onde existem Outubros” – e tinha tanta razão! Outubro têm sido um óptimo mês e tive várias coisas e momentos que me deixaram feliz!
Family Dinner
My cousins T and M invited us for dinner at their house and it was amazing. Not only was dinner delicious (and bloody hell it was) but it was fun to meet up with my cousins, aunt and uncle for dinner in a comfortable home environment!
Os meus primos T e M convidaram-nos para jantar em casa deles e foi incrível. Não só o jantar estar delicioso (e estava mesmo, caramba) mas também foi divertido encontrar as minhas primas e primos, tia e tio para jantar num ambiente caseiro!
Madrid
Ah Madrid. I fell in love with the Spanish capital within minutes of starting to explore. The vibe of the city is so relaxed and cool, the culture offering is fantastic, there are incredible coffee shops and restaurants…The food is obviously lovely, and I just love Spanish language! It was one of my favourite trips ever, and I cannot wait to go back!
Ah Madrid. Apaixonei-me pela capital Espanhola minutos depois de começar a explorar. O ambiente na cidade é tão bem disposto e relaxado, a oferta cultural é fantástica, há cafés e restaurantes incríveis…A comida é obviamente uma delícia e eu adoro ouvir e falar Castelhano! Foi uma das minhas viagens preferidas de sempre, mal posso esperar por voltar!
Girly Brunch
Meeting my girls Rita and Diana for brunch at Farmacy was definitely a highlight! It was so fun to sit and catch up with the girls about everything, over coffee and delicious food – I love it when we get together.
Encontrar-me com as minhas amigas Rita e Diana para um brunch foi um dos momentos altos deste mês! Foi tão giro estarmos ali sentadas a por a conversa em dia e a conversar sobre tudo e nada, enquanto tomávamos café e comíamos pratos deliciosos – adoro quando nos juntamos.

All three were really good reads! So much so that as I write this, I’m still struggling to find a book to follow these – I can’t stick to anything!
Este mês li 3 livros (lista acima), todos muito bons! Tanto que ao escrever isto, ainda estou com dificuldade em encontrar um livro novo para ler – não me consigo decidir por nenhum!
Return of Doctor Who
I’m really enjoying the return of Doctor Who in this new Jodie Whittaker era! It seems so far that it’s back to the same humour and feel of the David Tennant era, and I love it.
Tenho estado a adorar o regresso da série Doctor Who à BBC, nesta nova era da Jodie Whittaker! Até agora parece estar a voltar ao estilo e ao sentido de humor da era do David Tennant e isso é óptimo!
Home Again
I’d been wanting to watch this Reese Witherspoon film since it came out last year and one of these weekends, I did – and loved it. It’s such a genuinely nice story, it’s positive and somehow feels empowering and motivating. So good!
Andava a querer ver este filme com a Reese Witherspoon desde que saiu no ano passado e um destes fins-de-semana, vi – e adorei. É uma história fofinha, positiva e de alguma forma motivadora. Tão bom!
Oslo
The final trip of the year before going back home for Christmas happened this weekend – I went to Oslo and had a great time! It’s a great city to wander around and it was great to explore more of Scandinavia in a season that brings out its best colours. Keep an eye out for my Oslo City Guide, coming next week.
A minha última viagem do ano antes de voltar a casa no Natal foi este fim-de-semana que passou – fui a Oslo e passei uns óptimos dias! É uma cidade óptima para passear e foi muito bom explorar mais da Escandinávia na estação que mostra as suas melhores cores. Fiquem atentos ao blog, o City Guide de Oslo chega para a semana.
