Brunches with Friends
I love it when a month starts off with brunch plans already laid out. There’s nothing more fun than meeting up with your friends, trying out a new spot, tasting delicious food while chatting away!
Adoro quando um mês começa com planos já feitos para brunches. Não há nada melhor do que nos encontramos com amigos, experimentar um sítio novo, provar comida deliciosa enquanto pomos a conversa em dia!
This month started with exactly that – meeting up with Matilde for brunch at the fantastic Ella Canta (but more on that coming – keep your eyes peeled for a dedicated post) and we then went for a photo wander around central, which was lovely! Matilde always notices the cutest London scenes – hello motivation for better photos!
Este mês começou exactamente assim – encontrei-me com a Matilde para um brunch no espectacular Ella Canta (mais em breve – mantenham-se atentos para o post sobre isso) e depois fomos passear e tirar fotografias pelo centro de Londres, que foi óptimo! A Matilde repara sempre nas cenas mais giras em Londres – olá motivação para fotografias melhores!
This coming weekend I’m meeting Diana for brunch at The Corner Room in Bethnal Green. It’s not often that I explore East London, so I’m excited to have a wander after! And it’s always fun to marvel at Diana’s photo skills and eye for detail.
No fim-de-semana que aí vem vou-me encontrar com a Diana no Corner Room em Bethnal Green. Não costumo explorar muito o Este de Londres, por isso estou entusiasmada por passear por lá depois! E é sempre óptimo apreciar o talento da Diana para as fotografias e ver os detalhes todos em que ela repara.
Family times
One of my favourite plans happened yesterday: meeting up with my two London cousins (who are basically my sisters, and yes I’m third-wheeling in their sisterhood) for pizza dinner! It’s always lovely to hang out together, catch up on all the news and even just talk nonsense.
Um dos meus planos preferidos aconteceu ontem: encontrei-me com as minhas duas primas que estão em Londres (que são basicamente como minhas irmãs, e sim, estou a fazer de vela na irmandade delas) para um jantar de pizza! É sempre óptimo quando nos juntamos, pomos a conversa em dia e dizemos imensos disparates.
My godmother and my uncle are coming to London for a few days later in the month, and we have some family meals planned together which I’m seriously excited about!
A minha madrinha e o meu tio vêm a Londres no final do mês e temos umas refeições em família planeadas para as quais estou super entusiasmada!

Crazy Rich Asians
I’m loving reading on my Kindle and this is the first book I’m planning to finish this month. It has insanely rich people, opulent settings and a lot of backstabbing thrown in for good measure. It’s weirdly addictive!
Estou a adorar ler no meu Kindle e este é o primeiro livro que quero acabar este mês. Tem pessoas absurdamente ricas, cenas de uma opulência incrível e muita intriga como não podia deixar de ser. É estranhamente viciante!
To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before
I bought the book while still watching the movie, that’s how relatable I found it, and how much I liked the story. I’m excited to go through it!

One of my favourite books by my favourite contemporary author (Joel Dicker) is coming to TV screens this month (it premiered this week, in fact) and I am so excited to see it! I have no idea what to expect of the series but I’m curious!

Goals
I haven’t been paying too much attention to my eating habits and didn’t go to the gym for a while, and I feel it.
Não tenho prestado muita atenção aos meus hábitos alimentares e não fui ao ginásio durante uns tempos – e estou a senti-lo!
This month I am committed to going to the gym at least twice a week, and paying more attention to what I eat. This is difficult for someone who adores sweets like I do, but I need to make an effort to feel at my best again.
Este mês estou decidida a ir ao ginásio pelo menos duas vezes por semana e a prestar mais atenção ao que como. É difícil porque adoro doces, mas tenho mesmo de fazer um esforço para me sentir no meu melhor outra vez.
