Hi gang! Hope you’re all well 🙂 Today’s post comes a bit off schedule – I was in Lisbon this past weekend and wanted to make the most of my time at home, which didn’t leave much time for blogging…but here it is today: my June 2018 Favourites!
Olá pessoal! Espero que estejam todos bem 🙂 O post de hoje chega ligeiramente atrasado – estive em Lisboa no fim-de-semana passado e queria aproveitar o tempo em casa ao máximo, o que não deixou muito tempo livre para o blog…mas cá vai hoje: os meus Favoritos de Junho 2018!

Brunch & Walk
Early this month I met up with the lovely Matilde and we had a delicious brunch at the Dayrooms Café in Notting Hill. Not only is the decor there absolutely gorgeous, the food is wonderful too!
No princípio do mês encontrei-me com a Matilde e fomos tomar um brunch delicioso ao Dayrooms Café em Notting Hill. Como se não bastasse ter uma decoração lindíssima, a comida é uma delícia!
We then headed for a photo walk, looking for the prettiest rose covered houses – and boy, was that a treat! Matilde knows all the beautiful spots and it was great to discover them with her as a guide.
Seguimos depois para um passeio fotográfico, à procura das casas mais bonitas e cobertas de todas – foi uma maravilha! A Matilde conhece todos os recantos bonitos e foi óptimo descobri-los com ela a fazer de guia.
Friends in London
My friends from Portugal came to London for a few days and it was amazing! I loved having them over in the flat, and playing tour guide, showing the best bits of London and some of my favourite spots!
Os meus amigos de Portugal vieram a Londres passar uns dias e foi espectacular! Adorei que ficassem lá em casa comigo e poder fazer de guia, para lhes mostrar os melhores locais de Londres e alguns dos meus sítios preferidos!
Aside from touristy stuff, we cooked, chatted, listen to cheesy music, laughed, watched scary movies (well one, the others were just boring) and overall had a wonderful time!
Para além de visitas turísticas, cozinhámos, ouvimos música parva, rimos, vimos filmes de terror (bom, vimos um, os outros eram só chatos) e passámos uns óptimos dias no geral!
Foo Fighters
Last Friday it was concert time – my favourite band of all time, Foo Fighters. I’m just such a fan of Dave Grohl and the gang – they’re the coolest and funniest and their songs are amazing, both old and new.
Sexta-feira passada foi dia de concerto da minha banda preferida, Foo Fighters. Sou tão fã do Dave Grohl e da banda – são os mais porreiros e divertidos e as músicas, tanto mais antigas como mais modernas, são incríveis.
The gig at London Stadium was full of good energy, it was lively, fun, and great to let out all those frustrations we often keep inside. Just perfect!
O concerto no London Stadium foi só energia positiva, foi animado, divertido e óptimo para deitar fora todas as frustrações que tantas vezes empurramos para dentro. Simplesmente perfeito!
Rock in Rio Lisboa
On Saturday morning it was off to Lisbon so I could go to Rock in Rio and see Haim, Bastille and, above all, Muse. It was a scorcher in Lisbon on Saturday, and even when we were wandering the festival at 7pm-ish, it was still stuffy. But it was so much fun to spend time with my friends, get a few drinks, chat, laugh and just enjoy the music. It was amazing!
No sábado de manhã pus-me a caminho de Lisboa para ir ao Rock in Rio ver Haim, Bastille e, acima de tudo, Muse. Estava um calor de morrer em Lisboa no sábado e ainda bastante abafado quando andámos a passear no recinto lá para as 19h. Mas foi tão divertido passar tempo com os meus amigos, beber uns copos, conversar, rir e gozar a boa música. Foi fantástico!
Stuff
IGK No More Blow
When the weather is warmer I really dislike blow drying my hair, so I leave it to air dry most of the time. But while that’s really convenient, the hair doesn’t always look as nice as I’d like…enter IGK’s No More Blow spray. It reduces drying time considerably and leaves my hair a little more put together.
Quando o tempo aquece, fico sem vontade nenhuma de secar o cabelo, então deixo secar ao ar a maior parte do tempo. Mas embora isso seja conveniente, o cabelo nunca fica tão bonito como eu queria…mas heis que surge o No More Blow da IGK. Reduz bastante o tempo de secagem e dá um ar mais penteado ao cabelo.
