Gino Sorbillo
We found out about this place through people at work – and I’m so glad we went to try it out! It’s a bit of a wait but the delicious, enormous pizza really made up for it – one of the best I have ever had!
Descobrimos este restaurante através de colegas de trabalho – e ainda bem que lá fomos experimentar! Esperámos um bocado, mas a pizza deliciosa e enorme compensou e bem – uma das melhores que já comi!
Solferino
We discovered Solferino by chance, while wandering around Brera on our last day. It looked nice and traditional so we went in for lunch. The staff were incredibly helpful and lovely, the food was all divine, and the wine was superb. Finally, coffee and dessert, the best Tiramisu I have had, were the perfect ending for a lovely meal!
Descobrimos o Solferino por acaso, enquanto passeávamos por Brera no nosso último dia em Milão. Pareceu-nos bonito e tradicional, então entrámos para almoçar. Os funcionários foram super prestáveis e simpáticos, a comida era divinal e o vinho soberbo. O café e a sobremesa, o melhor tiramisu que já comi, foram o final perfeito para uma óptima refeição!

In the Navigli area, near the beautiful canals, we found Fab, a cocktail bar that was just perfect for a relaxed aperitivo. I had the traditional Aperol Spritz and B had an Elba cocktail. The drinks came accompanied by a little tray of snacks which surprised us and were so welcome!
Na zona de Navigli, junto aos canais que são muito giros, encontrámos o Fab, um bar de Cocktails perfeito para um aperitivo relaxado. Eu pedi o tradicional Aperol Spritz e a B pediu um cocktail Elba. Com as bebidas veio um pequeno tabuleiro com snacks que nos surpreendeu e foi muito bem-vindo!
Terrazza Aperol
A beautiful Terrace Bar with a view of the Duomo, and delicious drinks & snacks? I’m in! And this is exactly what Terrazza Aperol has to offer. We had to queue for a while to get an outside table, but it was well worth it! Really something you should experience.
Um bar num terraço com vista para o Duomo e com bebidas e snacks deliciosos? Contem comigo! E é exactamente isto que oferece o Terrazza Aperol. Tivemos de esperar um bocado por uma mesa lá fora, mas valeu bem a pena! É mesmo algo que se deve fazer.

This chain of ice cream shops that was recommended to us by B’s friend who lives and works in Milan. It offers a series of suggested combinations of flavours, or you can choose your own. The best part has to be the little bit of chocolate they add to the bottom of each cone! You can choose between milk, white or dark chocolate and it makes it all the nicer! Mine was stracciatella and lemon with dark chocolate at the bottom. Delicious!
Esta cadeira de gelatarias foi-nos recomendada pelo amigo da B que vive e trabalha em Milão. Tem uma série de sugestões de combinação de sabores, ou podemos escolher os que queremos. A melhor parte é mesmo o bocadinho de chocolate que põem em cada cone! Pode-se escolher entre chocolate preto, de leite ou branco e torna o gelado ainda melhor! O meu era de stracciatella e limão com chocolate preto no fundo. Delicioso!
La Romana
This other ice cream chain had been recommended by my Italian friend at work, who said they had the best ice cream. I had a combination of two flavours that the lady gave me to try, and I loved them!
Esta outra cadeia de gelatarias foi recomendada pela minha amiga italiana do escritório, que disse que lá tinham os melhores gelados. Escolhi dois sabores que me foram dados a provar pela senhora que me atendeu e adorei!
Fatto con Amore
We stumbled upon this cute little ice cream shop on our Sunday wanders and it was a brilliant surprise find. I decided to try their Peach ice cream along with my stracciatella – it’s my favourite fruit and the colour of the gelato was just calling out to me. It was, hands down, the best fruit gelato I have ever had: the peach taste was perfect and it was both sweet and refreshing, just as it should be!
Passámos por esta gelataria pequenina e muito gira no meio dos nossos passeios de Domingo e foi uma descoberta surpreendentemente boa. Decidi experimentar o gelado de Pêssego com a minha stracciatella – é a minha fruta preferida e a cor do gelado estava a chamar por mim. Foi, sem exagero, o melhor gelado de fruta que alguma vez comi: o sabor a pêssego estava perfeito e era doce e refrescante ao mesmo tempo, tal como deve ser!
