March ‘18 Plans

Hello again everyone! As promised, for the second post of the day, I’d like to tell you about what I have planned for the month of March…

Olá outra vez! Como prometido, para o segundo post do dia, queria falar-vos dos meus planos para o mês de Março…

Oscars

I still have a couple of Best Picture nominees to get through, Phantom Thread and The Shape of Water, so I will be watching them this weekend before the actual Oscars ceremony on Sunday night/early Monday morning. I’m really curious about what it will be like on the night, at the end of a year stained by assault charges against one of the big names of the industry and the creation of the Time’s Up movement. The world aches for change and culture (through the movie industry specifically) has the power to do it!

Ainda tenho dois nomeados para Melhor Filme para ver, Phantom Thread e The Shape of Water, por isso vou vê-los este fim-de-semana antes da cerimónia no domingo à noite/segunda-feira de madrugada. Estou curiosa para ver o que se vai passar, no final de um ano marcado pelas acusações de abuso contra um dos grandes nomes da indústria e pela criação do movimento Time’s Up. O mundo clama pela mudança e a cultura (neste caso específico através da indústria do cinema) tem esse poder.

Easter

My Parents are coming over for Easter weekend and will be staying at my flat – I cannot wait! It will be fun to have a few days of showing them around and exploring new places I still haven’t visited either!

Os meus pais vêm a Londres passar o fim-de-semana da Páscoa e vão ficar comigo – mal posso esperar! Vai ser giro ter uns dias para lhes mostrar sítios novos e explorar sítios onde eu própria ainda não fui!

Afternoon Tea at Claridges

Over the Easter weekend I have booked for my Parents and I to go to Claridge’s for Afternoon Tea, and I’m so excited! I’ve been wanting to go since I moved here and this is the best excuse to finally go.

Para o fim-de-semana da Páscoa marquei um Afternoon Tea no Claridge’s e estou tão entusiasmada! Ando a querer ir lá desde que me mudei para Londres e esta é a melhor desculpa para finalmente ir!

Exploring

If I get lucky with the weather over a weekend in March I am hoping to head to Windsor or somewhere similar, to spend some time exploring. A day trip should be fun!

Se o tempo estiver bom num dos fim-de-semana de Março gostava de ir à Windsor ou assim para passar algum tempo a explorar. Era óptimo ir passar um dia fora!

Books

I’m really excited about receiving a couple of books I pre-ordered: The F Word, by Lily Pebbles (a book on female friendships by one of my favourite bloggers!) and also La disparition de Stephanie Mailer, the new novel by Joel Dicker, one of my favourite authors. I’ll tell you more on a dedicated post about this month’s reading list, which will be coming soon.

Estou super entusiasmada por receber dois livros que estão em pré-encomenda: The F Word, da Lily Pebbles (um livro sobre amizades entre mulheres escrito por uma das minhas bloggers preferidas!) e também La disparition de Stephanie Mailer, o novo livro de Joel Dicker, um dos meus autores preferidos.
