To celebrate the 130th anniversary of Claus, the brand opened two stores: the first, in Lisbon, and the second, bigger one in their hometown of Porto, where they also have a brand Museum.
Para celebrar o 130º aniversário da Claus, a marca abriu duas lojas: a primeira em Lisboa e a segunda, maior, na cidade Natal da marca, o Porto, onde também têm um Museu da marca.
This week I visited the Lisbon store and was so impressed! The space is an old pharmacy that has been beautifully redecorated while keeping the original ceiling and cupboards.
Esta semana visitei a loja de Lisboa e adorei! Fica no espaço de uma antiga farmácia que foi restaurada lindamente mantendo o tecto e os armários originais.
There is a little museum of old logos and boxes that are incredible, and downstairs, as well as the coolest storage units for the products, there is an old school barbershop, with a very cool vintage record player too.
Tem um pequeno museu de logotipos e embalagens incríveis e, no andar de baixo, para além da arrumação mais gira para os produtos, tem também uma barbearia à antiga com um gira-discos vintage lindo.
And to top it all off, the staff is amazing. Such lovely ladies that are kind, welcoming and so knowledgable about the brand and the shop. I came home with a few gifts for my family and a beautiful bar of soap from the classic range.
Para além de tudo o mais, o pessoal da loja é fantástico. Umas senhoras super simpáticas, acolhedoras e que conhecem tão bem a marca e a loja. Voltei para casa carregada de presentes para a família e com um sabonete lindo da linha Clássica.
I chose the scent Lettuce because I loved the packaging, but also because Alfacinha, the nickname given to the people of Lisbon and the name of my blog, also means little lettuce!
Escolhi o Lettuce porque adorei a embalagem, mas também porque Lettuce = Alface e eu sou Alfacinha de gema!
It’s wonderful to see historic Portuguese brands come back to the spotlight with beautiful stores that draw people in to their excellent quality.
