Autumn in Regent’s Park

Hello everyone! 😊 After a couple posts dedicated to books and series I’ve been loving, today I’m sharing some photos from a lovely autumnal walk I took yesterday with the lovely Supal from the blog Chevrons & Éclairs.

Olá a todos! 😊 Depois de uns posts dedicados a livros e séries que tenho estado a adorar, hoje venho partilhar algumas fotos de um passeio de Outono que fiz ontem com a Supal do blog Chevrons & Éclairs.

I’ve mentioned before that Supal and I met through Instagram and have met up around London a few times for coffees and photos. With Supal being the jet-setter that she is (she’s been travelling for months!) we hadn’t had a chance to catch up since July – and it was brilliant to have a chance to talk about all things work, travel and life.

Já tinha dito aqui que a Supal e eu nos conhecemos através do Instagram e que já nos encontrámos por Londres umas vezes para tomar café e tirar fotografias. Sendo a Supal a jet-setter que é (andou meses a viajar!) não tínhamos tido oportunidade de por a conversa em dia desde Julho – e foi óptimo falar de tudo desde o trabalho, a viagens, a coisas da vida.

We met near Regent’s Park station and headed over to the Park. Though the morning (and previous night) had been rainy, the leaves were still in all their colourful glory and we kept ‘ooh-ing’ and ‘aah-ing’ over the pretty ones we found that were perfect for photos.

Encontrámo-nos na estação de Regent’s Park e seguimos para o parque. Apesar da manhã (e a noite anterior) ter estado chuvosa, as folhas ainda lá estavam com todas as suas cores maravilhosas e nós fomos ficando entusiasmadas com cada folha que encontrávamos que era perfeita para fotos.

Our walk took us all the way up to the canal, and then we came back down, past the Zoo. We took a little detour as we were making our way down because the giraffes were right there and they were so beautiful!

O nosso passeio levou-nos até ao canal e depois voltámos para baixo, passando pelo Zoo. Fizemos um pequeno desvio no caminho porque vimos as girafas mesmo ali e eram tão lindas!

After photographing our way down to Marylebone, past one of our favourite bookshops (hello Daunt Books!), we were in the mood for coffee and cake so it was off to Aubaine. 

Depois de fotografarmos tudo até Marylebone, passando por uma das nossas livrarias preferidas (olá Daunt Books!), estávamos com vontade de beber um café e comer um bolo, por isso fomos ao Aubaine.

Book nerds that we both are, we were chatting about our latest reads, what is on our lists and suggesting books and TV series to each other. I “convinced” Supal to watch Alias Grace on Netflix and we discussed The Handmaid’s Tale in such detail that I feel like reading it again!

Sendo as nerds de livros que somos, falámos sobre as últimas leituras, o que temos nas listas e sugerimos livros e séries de TV uma à outra. Eu “convenci” a Supal a ver a série Alias Grace no Netflix e falámos sobre The Handmaid’s Tale em tal detalhe que me deu vontade de voltar a ler!



It was such a fun afternoon! I always feel so motivated and inspired to create more and better posts for the blog and for Instagram when I’m with Supal, and it’s so great to be able to talk about shared passions!

Foi uma tarde tão divertida! Sinto-me sempre tão motivada e inspirada para criar mais e melhores posts para o blog e para o Instagram quando estou com a Supal e é óptimo falar sobre as coisas que ambas adoramos!
