Hi everyone! Today’s post is a little look at my favourite things from the month of June – from films to food and everything in between.

Wonder Woman

The brilliant Wonder Woman film came out this month (finally) and it was everything. Just the empowering super hero the world needed – and such a great example for little girls everywhere.

O fantástico filme da Wonder Woman saiu este mês (finalmente) e foi tudo o que se pedia dele. Exactamente a super heroína empowering de que o Mundo precisava – e um óptimo exemplo para meninas pelo mundo fora.

Holborn Grind

Last week I went to Holborn Grind with my friend A and I loved it. They do an incredible almond flat white, have Portuguese Natas and the best decor. What’s not to love?!

Na semana passada fui experimentar o Holborn Grind com a minha amiga A e adorei. Têm um flat white com leite de amêndoa óptimo, têm Pastéis de Nata e a decoração mais gira. Como não adorar?!

The Postman’s Fiancée

I had been having trouble finding a book I loved enough to finish – but all that ended last Sunday with this book, The Postman’s Fiancée by Denis Thériault. It’s a whimsical, gripping love story, beautifully written, and with great characters. I’d really recommend it.

Tinha andado com dificuldades em encontrar um livro de que gostasse o suficiente para o acabar – mas isso acabou no último domingo com este livro, The Postman’s Fiancée de Denis Thériault. É uma história de amor mágica, captivante, muito bem escrita e com personagens fortes. Recomendo.

Boat Party on the Thames

Work organised a Thames boat party last week and it was so much fun! The heatwave was coming to an end but it was still nice out, warm and light. It was brilliant!

O trabalho organizou uma festa de barco no Tâmisa na semana passada e foi tão divertida! A onda de calor já estava a passar mas ainda se estava bem na rua ao fim da tarde, estava quente e com boa luz. Foi espectacular!

New Look floral dresses

Taking inspiration from Kate‘s Instagram and blog, I bought two dresses from New Look and am absolutely loving both. Their really comfortable, have a great cut and the most beautiful patterns! 

Tirando inspiração do Instagram e do Blog da Kate, comprei dois vestidos da New Look e estou a adorar os dois. São super confortáveis, têm um optimo corte e os padrões mais bonitos que já vi!
