#1 Birthday Celebrations // Festas de anos
I was very lucky to get to spend my birthday weekend surrounded by good friends and my lovely cousins! Both celebrations involved brunches – a bottomless one with the girls, with all the Bellinis and girly chat, and a regular one with my cousins where we sat for hours catching up.
Tive muita sorte de poder passar o meu fim-de-semana de aniversário rodeada de boas amigas e das minhas primas/primos! As duas festas foram brunches – um bottomless com as meninas, com imensos Bellinis e conversa de mulheres; e outro normal com as minhas primas e primos onde ficámos horas a por a conversa em dia.
#2 Bloom&Wild Flowers // Flores
My birthday present from my parents was this beautiful bouquet from Bloom&Wild – isn’t it incredible? I’m still in awe of their business model – sending flowers in a super thin box that fits through the letterbox! It’s incredible because the flowers look amazing when you take them out and put them in a vase!
A minha prenda de anos dos meus pais foi este lindíssimo bouquet da Bloom&Wild – não é incrível? Ainda estou parva com o modelo de negócio deles – enviar flores numa caixa finíssima que cabe pela caixa de correio! É incrível porque as flores ficam fantásticas quando saem da caixa e são postas num jarro!
#3 Podcasts
I’ve been trying to get into podcasts – I struggle to listen to them just because it’s hard to focus on listening without getting distracted doing other things. But there are a couple that made me want to make the effort. The first is S-Town, by the same people who did Serial. I’m still very much in the beginning but I’m loving it!
Tenho tentado começar a seguir podcasts – tenho alguma dificuldade em ouvir só porque acho difícil concentrar-me sem me distrair a fazer outras coisas. Mas há dois que me têm dado vontade de fazer um esforço. O primeiro é o S-Town, das mesmas pessoas que fizeram o Serial. Ainda estou muito no princípio mas estou a adorar!
And the second is At Home With… by my favourite bloggers, Anna and Lily. I’ve started listening to the first episode and I’m loving it! The girls are absolute pros already and it’s so interesting – definitely give it a listen if you’re looking for motivation!
