April Favourites

Hi guys! 🙂 As we start the month of May, I wanted to share the best bits that April brought me – from family times to travel and beyond. Hope you like it!

Olá pessoal! 🙂 Agora que estamos no início de Maio, queria partilhar convosco os melhores momentos que Abril me trouxe, desde momentos em família a viagens e mais além. Espero que gostem!

Family Times // Momentos em Família

April was great family-wise. Early in the month my London (and Reading) cousins met up with me in Chiswick for a day in the sun and it was absolutely wonderful – sunshine, nice walks, great food and cuteness overload from little V!

Abril foi um óptimo mês no que toca a encontros de família. No início do mês as minhas primas e os meus primos de Londres (e de Reading) juntaram-se a mim para um dia de sol em Chiswick e foi óptimo – sol, caminhadas boas, óptima comida e toda a fofura do V!

Then mid-month I headed to Rome with my Parents and we spent a brilliant 4 days exploring the Italian capital. We did lots of sightseeing, ate delicious food and drank fantastic wine and talked for ages. It was excellent!

Depois a meio do mês fui a Roma com os meus Pais e passámos 4 dias óptimos a explorar a capital Italiana. Vimos imensa coisa, comemos comida deliciosa e bebemos vinho fantástico e falámos durante horas. Foi excelente!

And then finally my aunt and uncle were in town and I met up with them and my London cousins for dinner just after returning from Rome, which was lovely – it’s always good to get the crazy family gang back together!

E finalmente os meus tios estiveram cá e jantei com eles e com as primas e primos de Londres depois de voltar de Roma, o que foi óptimo – é sempre bom reunir a família maluca!

I’ve dedicated three posts to the Eternal City already so I won’t go into too much detail here, but suffice it to say that I fell in love. I knew I’d love Rome but never thought it would be this much. Everywhere you look there’s unassuming beauty and it’s fantastic!

Já dediquei três posts à Cidade Eterna, por isso não vou entrar aqui em grande detalhe, mas dizer apenas que fiquei encantada. Sabia que ia adorar Roma mas nunca pensei que fosse assim tanto. Há coisas lindas para onde quer que se olhe e é fantástico!

Guardians of the Galaxy vol.2 // Guardiões da Galáxia 2 

I saw this on Saturday and thought it was incredible. The first one had conquered me through the sarcastic humour and brilliant 80s references, and this one carried it on brilliantly. The thing with it is that it had moments that made me laugh out loud and others that made me emotional – all the while being incredibly clever.

Vi este filme no passado sábado e achei incrível. O primeiro conquistou-me com o humor sarcástico e as referências geniais aos anos 80 e este continuou essa tendência de forma brilhante. O que achei fantástico foi que o filme teve momentos que me fizeram rir às gargalhadas e outros que me deixaram emocionada – sempre sendo estremamente sagaz.

Chris Pratt is a dreamboat as ever and Zoe Saldana is uber cool and gorgeous. I mean seriously – how can someone look that hot when they’re green?!

O Chris Pratt está um sonho como sempre e a Zoe Saldana tem imensa pinta e é linda. A sério – como é que possível ser tão gira mesmo estando verde?!

I mentioned my most recent handbag purchase in one of my Three Little Things posts but it has to be featured here too. I adore it! The bag is absolutely perfect: it fits everything I need and it’s small and practical. Mine is the rose beige colour and it is just dreamy – I honestly catch myself staring at it looking the heart eyed emoji…

Já falei da minha nova carteira num dos meus posts Three Little Things mas tenho de falar nela aqui também. Adoro-a! A carteira é absolutamente perfeita: cabe lá tudo o que preciso e é pequena e prática. A minha é a cor beige rosado e é de sonho – a sério que dou por mim a olhar para ela com cara daquele emoji com olhos de coração.

I had been dreaming about the Omaggio Vase from Kähler in the smaller size for months and ahead of my birthday month, I decided to buy it as a mini-treat for myself. It is stunning! Delicate, elegant and perfect either with or without flowers!

Já andava a sonhar com a versão mais pequena da jarra Omaggio há meses e, com a chegada do meu mês de aniversário, decidi comprá-la como um mini-mimo para mim mesma. É linda! Delicada, elegante e perfeita com ou sem flores!
