For years I have admired the beauty of the Wisteria flowers. Their beautiful colour and delicate scent brighten the streets and houses of London around this time of year, and all you need to do is open Instagram to see that everyone is under the Wisteria spell.
Há anos que admiro a beleza das glicínias. A cor linda e o cheiro leve abrilhantam as ruas e casas de Londres nesta altura do ano e basta abrir o Instagram para ver que toda a gente foi enfeitiçada pelas glicínias.
So this Easter weekend I walked down to the Thames Path in Chiswick Mall, to find more Wisteria to capture in photos.
Então aproveitando o fim-de-semana comprido de Páscoa, fui passear para o Thames Path no Chiswick Mall, para descobrir mais glicínias para fotografar.
I also read that the oldest Wisteria in Britain was just down the street, at Fuller’s Brewery, so I had to check it out. It was brought from China in 1816 (it is 101 years old!) and it still blooms beautifully.
Também tinha lido que a glicínia mais antiga do Reino Unido estava aqui perto na fábrica da cerveja Fuller’s, por isso tive de ir espreitar. Foi trazida da China em 1816 (tem 101 anos!) e ainda dá flores magníficas!
The gorgeous houses along Chiswick Mall also have the most beautiful Wisteria. Seriously, this area is an absolute dream!
As casas lindas ao longo do Chiswick Mall também têm glicínias lindas. A sério, está zona é um sonho!
