Best of Instagram #3

Today’s post is a look at the Instagram accounts I’ve loved following recently. Instagram is what I look to when I need to feel calmer, inspired and more creative. It’s a community I’m really loving being a part of – I’m always excited to share my photos and to find more accounts with beautiful content.

O post de hoje é um olhar sobre as contas de Instagram que tenho adorado seguir nos últimos tempos. É ao Instagram que vou quando preciso de me sentir mais calma, inspirado e mais criativa. É uma comunidade à qual estou a adorar pertencer – sinto sempre entusiasmo por partilhar as minhas fotografias e por encontrar mais contas com bom conteúdo.

These are just a few of the accounts I’ve loved recently. For different reasons they bring me so much joy, and inspire me to do better both with my blog and Instagram, but also with life in general.

Estas são apenas algumas das contas que tenho adorado recentemente. Por razões diferentes deixam-me mais bem disposta e inspiram-me a melhorar tanto o blog e o Instagram, como a vida em geral. 

The Anna Edit

I mean, how could I not mention Anna, the loveliest girl on the Internet?! Anna has excellent taste in clothes and home decor and is one of those really nice, down-to-earth girls you wish you were friends with!

Claro que tinha de falar na Anna, a rapariga mais simpática da Internet! A Anna tem um gosto excelente para roupa e para decoração e é uma daquelas pessoas mesmo simpáticas e terra-a-terra que gostávamos que fosse nossa amiga!

I love her minimalistic style and capsule wardrobe choices, her photos in beautiful Brighton, and the peeks we get inside her flat. I’ve been lucky to meet Anna at a couple of events she had in London with Lily and she is just as nice and chilled in person as she seems online – part of why she’s definitely been my favourite for the longest time!

Adoro o estilo minimalista dela, as escolhas de guarda-roupa cápsula, as fotos em Brighton, e as espreitadelas que podemos dar ao apartamento dela. Tive a sorte de encontrar a Anna em dois eventos que ela teve em Londres com a Lily e ela é tão simpática e porreira em pessoa como parece online – o que é parte da razão pela qual ela é a minha favorita há tanto tempo!

I Covet Thee

Alix’s Instagram has been following more of a cool toned theme with touches of pink and I find that really visually appealing and also super relaxing. Not only is Alix beautiful but she comes across as very honest in her videos and posts, and I love that!

O Instagram da Alix tem seguido um tema em tons mais frios e com toques que rosa e eu acho isso muito apelativo visualmente, para além de ser super relaxante. A Alix não só é bonita como parece verdadeira nos seus vídeos e posts, adoro isso!

I love her photos, especially those of her outfits and her makeup which somehow always looks perfect (what is this sorcery?!). And then there are the photos of Moon, her gorgeous little puppy. Following this account is a treat!

Adoro as fotografias dela, especialmente as dos looks que usa e da maquilhagem que parece sempre perfeita (que magia é esta?!). E depois surgem as fotografias da Moon, a cadelinha da Alix que é tão fofa. É uma delícia seguir esta conta!

SardinesPlease

I came across Leah’s account a while back when exploring photos of pretty doors in London, and immediately loved her use of colour and the ability to find such beautiful places in her everyday life.

Cruzei-me com a conta da Leah há uns meses quando andava a explorar fotografias de portas bonitas em Londres e adorei logo o uso da cor e o talento para encontrar sítios tão bonitos na vida quotidiana.

Leah really knows how to capture buildings and places in the best angle, and how to make the colours stand out – this is why I love her photos so much. Back in December I met Leah in Porto, where she now lives with her family, and it was so much fun to walk around finding beautiful things to shoot together!

A Leah sabe captar mesmo bem os melhores ângulos dos locais e dos edifícios, e sabe como fazer as cores saltar à vista – é por isto que adoro as fotografias dela. Em Dezembro passado encontrámo-nos no Porto, onde ela vive com a família, e foi tão divertido passear e encontrar coisas e sítios bonitos para fotografarmos juntas!

Paris in Four Months

This is one of those accounts I follow because there is just so much beauty in the content. Not only is Carin, the photographer behind the account, absolutely stunning, but she has the most gorgeous, elegant style I’ve seen online.

Esta é uma daquelas contas que sigo porque o conteúdo é sempre tão bonito. A Carin, fotógrafa atrás deste perfil, não só é linda de morrer, mas tem o estilo mais bonito e elegante que alguma vez vi online.

From her everyday photos in Paris or when she travels, to editorial content she creates for her blog (the recent Cartier new Love bracelet is my favourite) or photos of her outfits, it’s hard not to feel inspired by the beauty in Carin’s shots.

Desde as fotografias do quotidiano em Paris ou das suas viagens, aos conteúdos editoriais que cria para o blog (o post recente sobre a nova pulseira Love da Cartier é o meu preferido) ou fotografias dos seus looks, é difícil de não nos sentirmos inspirados pela beleza das fotografias que a Carin partilha.

Nadia Meli

I came across Nadia’s account after she did a shoot with Anna (of The Anna Edit) and her fiancé Mark. We then met, of course, when we did a shoot together for this blog back in July last year (an experience we’ll hopefully get to repeat soon!).

Cruzei-me com o perfil da Nadia quando ela fez uma sessão fotográfica com a Anna do The Anna Edit e o seu noivo Mark. Depois conhecemo-nos, claro, quando fizemos uma sessão de fotografias juntas para este blog em Julho do ano passado (uma experiência que espero poder repetir em breve!).

Nadia has a super positive energy that is incredibly contagious. And this comes through in her photos. Her Instagram is a beautiful collection of her work and her daily life, all beautifully edited to fall together smoothly. Her photos always make me feel warm and happy. And the captions often make me feel inspired and pushed to do more with my creativity and my life.

A Nadia tem uma energia super positiva que é incrivelmente contagiante. E isso é também transmitido através das fotografias. O Instagram da Nadia é uma colecção lindíssima de imagens do trabalho e da vida dela, editadas lindamente para combinarem bem umas com as outras. As fotografias dela sempre me fazem sentir aconchegada e feliz. E as legendas muitas vezes fazem-me sentir inspirada e empurram-me para fazer mais com a minha criatividade e a minha vida. 

Rue Rodier

I don’t even know how long I’ve been following Marissa but I know she has one of my go to accounts when I want to see some effortlessly cool style or beautiful Parisian photos.

Nem sei há quanto tempo sigo a Marissa, mas sei que é uma daquelas contas onde vou quando quero ver imagens de looks relaxados mas cheios de pinta, ou fotografias bonitas de Paris.

The light and the composition of Marissa’s photos are always amazing, her style is, like I said, effortless and yet really elegant and cool, and she shows snippets of her life and travels in such a captivating way. Worth a follow…

A luz e a composição das fotografias da Marissa são sempre incríveis, o estilo dela é, como já disse, relaxado mas cheio de pinta e elegância e ela mostra bocados da sua vida e das suas viagens de forma tão captivantes! Vale a pena seguir…
