2017 Plans

Happy New Year everybody! Hope you had a really fun New Year’s Eve and that the new year is starting off well 🙂

Feliz Ano Novo a todos! Espero que tenham passado bem o ano e que 2017 esteja a começar bem 🙂

Today I thought I’d share with you a bit of what I want to do in 2017. Not exactly resolutions because those I tend to do in September, still going by school years rather than actual calendar ones. But sort of a wish list for the year ahead.

Hoje pensei partilhar convosco um bocadinho do que quero fazer em 2017. Não são exactamente resoluções porque essas costumo fazer em Setembro, ainda funcionando por anos lectivos em vez de anos de calendário. Mas é mais uma wish list para o ano que agora começa.

Travel

Scandinavia

After visiting Copenhagen and Stockholm in 2016, I really want to visit Finland and Norway soon. Hopefully I’ll get to plan a trip to see the Northern Lights, which I’ve dreamt about for years.

Depois de visitar Copenhaga e Estocolmo em 2016, quero imenso visitar a Finlândia e a Noruega em breve. Espero conseguir planear uma viagem para ver a Aurora Borealis, que sonho ver há anos.

South of France

I have been wanting to travel to the South of France for a while, but it’s not exactly something I want to do for a long weekend – so this year I’m hoping to take a week to myself, to relax and enjoy the beauty of another region of France.

Há tempos que ando a querer visitar o sul de França, mas não é uma coisa que queria fazer só por um fim-de-semana prolongado – por isso este ano queria tirar uma semana só para mim, para relaxar e apreciar a beleza de outra região de França.

Italy

Despite having seen quite a bit of Europe now, I still haven’t been to Italy and that is a bit of an embarrassment for me – I love Renaissance art and have been desperate to visit Florence for years. So that will hopefully be ticked off in 2017.

Apesar de já ter visitado uma boa parte da Europa, ainda não fui a Itália e isso é fonte de alguma vergonha para mim – adoro a arte Renascentista e ando desesperada por visitar Florença há anos. Por isso espero conseguir riscá-la da lista em 2017.

Vienna

I’ve been wanting to visit the Austrian capital since the first time I saw Before Sunrise. My cousin M and I are planning on heading over for a visit to our cousin S who lives there – hopefully this will happen soon!

Desde a primeira vez que vi o filme Antes do Amanhecer que quero ir à capital austríaca. A minha prima M e eu estamos a planear lá ir para visitar a nossa prima S que lá vive – espero que isto aconteça em breve!

Posts

I plan on continuing posting three times a week, focusing on travel, style and lifestyle posts as I have been doing recently. But I’m really open to feedback so I’d love it if you left me any suggestions for posts, or improvements to the blog, in the comments below!

No que toca ao blog, planeio continuar a publicar posts três vezes por semana, focando-me em conteúdos de viagens, estilo e lifestyle como tenho feito nos últimos tempos. Mas estou aberta a sugestões, por isso adorava que me deixassem feedback e quaisquer sugestões para posts ou melhorias no blog nos comentários abaixo!

Improvement

Learning languages

I’d really love to learn a new language, and after visiting Copenhagen and seeing Borgen and The Killing, two awesome Danish shows, I have my heart set on learning Danish. It’s a difficult language when you come from a Latin based mother tongue, but it’s a cool one and a good challenge!

Gostava imenso de aprender uma nova língua e depois de visitar Copenhaga e de ver as séries dinamarquesas Borgen e The Killing, decidi que quero aprender dinamarquês. É uma língua difícil quando se vem de uma língua materna baseada no latim, mas é interessante e um bom desafio!

Photography

I’ve finally bought the camera of my dreams, the Olympus PEN E-PL8. I’ve been absolutely in love with it, it’s incredible and takes the most beautiful photos. So for 2017 I want to learn how to take better photos with it, so I can improve the content on the blog too.

Comprei finalmente a câmera dos meus sonhos, a Olympus PEN E-PL8. Tenho estado a adorá-la, é incrível e tira fotografias lindas. Então em 2017 quero aprender a tirar melhores fotos com ela, para poder ir melhorando o conteúdo do blog também.
