I cannot remember a happier month than July 2016. There are loads of things this month that I’ll remember for years to come, but here are a few of my favourites.
Não me lembro de um mês mais feliz que Julho de 2016. Imensas coisas que se passaram este mês vão ficar na minha memória durante anos, mas aqui ficam alguns dos meus favoritos.
Starting off by receiving the illustration that Maelle (from Cirque de Papier) did of me, which is beautiful beyond words.
Começando com o desenho fantástico que a Maelle (do blog Cirque de Papier) fez de mim.
Then a football tournament with work mates which I was dreading but turned out to be really fun – and kinda gave me the bug to try and play football more often.
Depois, um torneio de futebol com colegas de trabalho, que me deu alguma ansiedade mas que acabou por ser mesmo divertido – e até me deu vontade de começar a jogar futebol mais vezes.
A trip to Wells-next-the-sea followed, for my cousins’ T & M’s wedding – a perfect long weekend with the family that was filled with joy.
Seguiu-se uma viagem a Wells-next-the-sea para o casamento dos meus primos T e M – um fim-de-semana prolongado com a família que foi perfeito e cheio de alegria.
My cousin M’s birthday a week later was also wonderful, filled with friends and yummy food!
O aniversário da minha prima M uma semana depois foi maravilhoso também, cheio de amigos e comida deliciosa!
And to top it all off, I decided to challenge myself to do something to get me out of my comfort zone, and help with my self confidence – I emailed the wonderful and super talented Nadia Meli after I saw the photos she did with Anna and Mark, and at the end of the month we met up for a photo shoot.
It was brilliant to get to know Nadia, she’s such a bright, bubbly person with such contagious happiness! She made the whole experience so positive for a very shy person like myself – it meant the world that she took time in her busy schedule during wedding season to meet up with me!! Thank you again Nadia! I can’t wait to see the results and share them with you here.
Para completar o mês, decidi desafiar-me a mim mesma e fazer algo para me tirar da zona de conforto, e ajudar com a minha confiança – enviei um email à fantástica e super talentosa Nadia Meli depois de ver as fotografias que fez com Anna (do blog ViviannaDoesMakeup) e o Mark e, no final do mês, encontrámo-nos para uma sessão fotográfica.
Foi óptimo conhecer a Nadia, que é uma pessoa tão bem disposta e com uma felicidade contagiante! Fez com que toda a experiência fosse super positiva para uma pessoa incrivelmente timida como eu – estou mesmo grata por ela ter arranjado um bocadinho de tempo numa altura tão agitada de casamentos para se encontrar comigo!! Obrigada mais uma vez Nadia! Mal posso esperar por ver os resultados e partilhá-los convosco.
