On my way back from a wander round Notting Hill and Portobello Market last weekend, I walked past Holland Park Newsagents and went in to browse their selection. To my surprise I found not one, but two beautiful publications that I’m loving flipping through!
Ao regressar de um passeio pela zona de Notting Hill e Portobello Market no fim-de-semana passado, passei pelo Holland Park Newsagents e entrei para ver o que tinham. Para surpresa minha encontrei não uma, mas duas publicações lindas que estou a adorar folhear!
Cherry Bombe
The first was Cherry Bombe – which called out to me with it’s fantastic cover featuring major babe Chrissy Teigen.
According to the ‘About’ section on their website, Cherry Bombe is a “beautifully designed biannual publication that celebrates women and food” – and that is what I love about it: with great stories about female entrepreneurs, recipes that I must try at some point, and stunning photography to boot, this mag is a dream!
A primeira foi Cherry Bombe – que chamou a minha atenção com uma capa fantástica com a lindíssima Chrissy Teigen.
O site da revista diz que a Cherry Bombe é uma “publicação bianual que celebra mulheres e comida” – e isso é o que eu adoro: com óptimos artigos sobre mulheres empreendedoras, receitas que dão vontade de experimentar, e ainda por cima fotografias espectaculares, esta revista é um sonho!
Provencial
The second was Provencial, which has a beautifully minimalistic design and lovely photos.
On their website, the magazine is described as “a high quality quarterly zine that seeks to inspire balance between work and rest and a creatively simplified lifestyle”.
Volume 3, their latest issue, is dedicated to ‘Craft’ and throughout the magazine introduces us to makers and creators. The interviews are great to read, and the photos, lettering and overall presentation of the magazine are stunning!
A segunda revista que comprei foi a Provencial, que tem um design maravilhosamente minimalista e fotografias maravilhosas.
No site, a revista é descrita como “uma revista trimestral de alta qualidade que procura inspirar um equilíbrio entre trabalho e descanso e um estilo de vida criativamente simplificado”.
A mais recente edição, Volume 3, é dedicada aos ‘Ofícios’ e ao longo das suas páginas somos apresentados a artesãos e criadores. As entrevistas são óptimas de ler e as fotografias, caligrafia e apresentação geral da revista são lindíssimas!
